Haider Ackermann‘s use of colour throughout his collections is always quite simply exquisite. He’s a true master of it, in particular when it comes to choosing tones to sit alongside each other. There’s something very painterly about it, mixing tones, laying them beside one another to create depth.

The actual pieces themselves have one of the most distinct signatures out there at the moment. Jackets are masculine and sharp, layered over draped pieces that appear to be falling away from the body, revealing slashes of skin – or in some cases, being completely sheer. It’s a new idea of femininity he’s working to and it’s exceptional.
