Last year the New York based label Kate Spade took over a town house in Covent Garden in order to test the British fashion waters. The house itself was decorated throughout with kitsch furniture, entire walls of Kate Spade bags, shagpile rugs, the lot. The napkins proudly proclaimed ‘Hello London!’ and now due to success of the pop-up store, they’re saying hello again, and this time the it isn’t just a temporary rental situation. Whether you’re after an always cheery bright tote, a clutch bag disguised as a copy of ‘Wuthering Heights’ or mittens embroidered with the word ‘Taxi’, Kate Spade is the place to go. Personally I’m eyeing up the polka-dot iPhone case.

The store’s located near Sloane Square, on the corner of Symons and Pavilion, make sure you pay a visit once it opens its perfectly polished doors this month. You can’t help but feeling just that little bit cheerier in the land of Kate Spade.
